It's sounds like it's just a glucose-availability issue. Gatorade, both for the sugar and the electrolytes, should help plenty and it shouldn't be an issue any more!! Although if you aren't drinking much water during your work out, either, it could be a dehydration issue as well.

I'm sure it's possible to train your body to use up your sugars more slowly, but if you aren't training for a 26 mile endurance race, it's probably more practical to bring a small bottle of gatorade!!
