What's the oldest person you know who is (or was) sponging off their parents still (I do NOT mean college students, but say that guy down the street who lets his gf pay for their fun, and lives with his mom - all while not going to school or working for no other reason than... he doesn't feel like getting a job)
Well I did move back with my mom when I got divorced, but I worked 3 jobs and we sort of split bills and such. My brother got laid off last year and is still looking for work, his GF works. He is 37. I guess that is sort of sponging.

5. (If you live in a part of the world where you have to drive) How old were you when you got your driver's license?

about a month.

Nope

Back then I was majoring in English

9. Did you get a job in your field?
Never did

10. If not, what do you do? Did you need a degree to get this job?
During my first marriage and until I moved to Hawaii, I worked as an office manager. I worked piece rate making key chains from home, and I worked an evening shift in a candy factory (Best peppermint bark ever) a few nights a week. I don't think a degree was needed for any of these. I learned on the job mostly.

I will go back to school when I can. I hope my son will be ready to try school again in the next couple years. Until then I work as a homeshool mom. Thank God we can do it, poor kid was drowning in the classroom.
