She's basically ditched her laptop completely, uses the iPad for word processing (there's a neat accessory where you can connect the pad to a keyboard and it basically functions as a laptop), she uses it for school (good for her 5th grade special needs kids), uses it for just about everything. Much easier to carry than a laptop too.
