I'm writing a story and have been asking people to answer some questions. If you don't mind, it would help me greatly!

In my story, souls have been proven to exist by science. However, souls have a biological origin. Also, science has proven that souls can be and do get reborn.

How would your religious beliefs be changed by this, if at all?

I'm Christian, and I think I wouldn't mind. I am the kind of Christian that does not believe scientific facts are clearly bunk if they don't work with what I've been told. I have no problem believing that a system with scientific laws was Created.

I'd have to think about the reincarnation for a moment.

If souls return to living breathing bodies it could be argued that what we perceive as "death" is something else (which seems the perspective of most transmigration beliefs), so as long as some closure ultimately occurs it seems reconcilable. Which is relevant to more than fiction.... ;)
