Our Equality Act says "Race includes— (a) colour; (b) nationality; (c) ethnic or national origins".

The people in question might not even fit that definition, you realize, if they're immigrants. So you can't even use that as support for your claim, really.

Race and nationality are quite different. Otherwise, you're going to have to say inane things like "racist against Americans."

P.S. I'm not massively impressed to learn that you find anti-British racism "hilarious", even if it's not as common or pervasive as other forms of racism. How is racism against one group any less bad than racism against another?

It reminds me of rich people complaining about their taxes, is all. If there actually were instances of people being hurt because of their being British (perhaps in the case of New Zealand, as Rebekah pointed out), I'd be willing to reconsider. But otherwise, no, it's a pretty risible concept.
