the above concept has been said by many a bubbled bigot before. I know you're not a bigot, but I don't know how many times I've heard someone use a gay slur and, when called out on it, they say they're just joking around and people shouldn't take it seriously. There are degrees of love and hate and, yes, bigotry, and if you're British you're likely to take it seriously, as evidenced by Le Eyeless One.

And, that'll cut it for me in this thread.
