In order for us to get an R rating for video games we need the Attorney General for each state and the commonwealth to agree to it.

Previous a certain SA Attorney General refused on the "Won't somebody think of the children" basis.

After he left we thought it wsa going to happen but now the new Victoria Attorney General is saying the same thing.

Its basically ill informed people holding up the process. In the meantime, most game companies just appeal the decision and cut the offending item out of the game allowing it to be sold as M15.

So basically we are playing slightly cut back R18 rated games from the age of 15.
