There are rumors that Governor Mitch Daniels is considering a run for the president, and I have barely heard anything about him. Because of this I am wondering if anybody here has an opinion on him.


If he was in the race and the nomination was today, I'd probably vote for him, second choice probably Pawlenty, Paul doesn't seem a realistic option and none of the others either appeal to me or seem like serious contenders, but 2012 is a long way off.

(So far he seems to me as an individual the republican candidate I would most likely to support, the reason why I want to keep to myself, until I get some more feedback ... for I barely know anything about him).


Probably better to just hear him discuss stuff, this is him a few days back with Al Hunt. He's not charismatic, but he seems IMO to have a solid head on his shoulders. As with everything else, he's got his ups and downs, eye of the beholder and all.
