Chemical Engineering, but the exchange program is with a school that teaches everything in English. (Otherwise there's no way in hell I'd go. It will be difficult enough in my own language ).

But you know, if it was more in a humanities direction, the choice of country/language would be rather more important and have rather more relevance to your academic work.

All the same, Turkish is a lovely and rather interesting language, though I suppose some of the things that make it interesting also make it tricky. I'd certainly recommend taking some language classes if you end up choosing Istanbul (of course, I'd recommend that in any country and for any language...).
