Well. Totally going for it with that last piece of info!
The only downside is the feeding. When I had my snake, I didn't live in a metropolitan area so I had to drive an hour every week or 10 days to get feed mice. If you have a place close, no big deal. Or you can raise your own, but that is a whole other bag of worms.
Easy enough here; in a city and quite a few pet stores in the area carry the right mice.
