An important sentence appears to have [mysteriously] disappeared from my post. Without its scene-setting, jaw-dropping, inspirationally hilarious context it would seem to the reader that my brain took a left turn at Hartlepool and hasn't been since since.

Miniander is good, she is ten and far too sophisticated for the likes of me. Titchyander is three and a half and causing untold trouble as he has just discovered lying. I will need to beat that out of him soon. Majander is drifting along, working away and getting on with it. We had a nasty infestation of Melbournites staying in our house over the summer, but we've had the place fumigated since.
Edinburgh's lovely, was visiting my sister there last week, the west of the country's not bad either. ;)
