I hadn't seen that Cracked article. The video they link in there, of the hornets storming the bee hive like some sort of bloodthirsty hell beast stormtroopers with wings, was horrifying.
I hadn't read the thing about them being able to spray their venom either, but it makes sense.

Lesser of two evils, and all that. I think the Bot flies in the brain still win for sheer creepiness factor, but they won't hunt you down like the hornets will.
