Like I said, the only reason I went ahead and posted this one is because equating the welfare state and anyone who doesn't directly benefit from corporate government with lawless rioting and looting is just another cheap and baseless shot at the underclass (though if they keep turning the middle class into the underclass the rhetoric could well become reality, and crap like this isn't helping prevent that). Apart from that, the rank hypocrisy is just entertainment. It's something to offend liberals with the stamina to still muster some outrage, garner praise from conservatives who obediently applaud anything their pundits and politicians say and disgust independents, moderates and politically apathetic already far past the point of exhaustion.

Some people in many large groups are nutjobs, but the problem here is that a LOT of the right is. I mean, Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter aren't isolated loners holed up in a shack some place talking to their gun; they have a (very profitable) audience that keeps them in syndicated columns and on the air. And keeps their favorite nutjob politicians in office, running the richest nation on Earth, including its worlds largest nuclear arsenal.
