not simply overstated. I am not arguing about which side is right and which side is wrong. What a I am objecting to is Joel's rhetorical tactic of making over the top unsupportable statement and people pretending that is just what both sides do. Joel keeps saying it even after he admitted it wasn't true. I highly doubt you would be so tolerate and understanding if there was someone on the right making these statements. Instead what we get is "lets pretend like Joel is rational because we don't like the people he is making shit up about" "well both sides are wrong so lets play nice with the man saying you are spitting on the graves of dead school children".
