Jab at California aside I was just commenting on how violent sporting events have become. There was the shooting but they also had to bring police into the crowd to break up a fight, there was the man taking his kid to baseball game who was beaten almost to death. It seems to be escalating. I used to travel to San Fransisco back when the Cowboys and the 49s always seemed to meet in the Championship Game and I would wear my Cowboys Jersey sometimes just for fun. I would get a few "Cowboys Suck" but it was never nasty. I don't know if I would still do it today.
It can certainly be a little intimidating wearing a visitor's jersey around a home crowd.
