Isn't it though? Cannoli Send a noteboard - 14/09/2011 12:37:10 AM
I mean, those TSA agents with their scanners - where would stand up comedians BE without that for source material? And the lovely, Orwellian-named Department of Homeland Security, and its color code indicator that has never dropped into the safe zone during a decade that has seen exactly zero terrorist attacks in the country? What a gas! The current economic hardships and extreme levels of debt make this superfluous bureaucracy EVEN FUNNIER! And who could ever forget the hilarious P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Act? The funny thing about our police state? If anyone had described this stuff in a novel in 1999, it would have been laughed at for the comical implausibility of these things.
