I think what weirds me out is the total randomness here. I can _maybe_ somehow understand why a pedophile would rape a five-year-old but just the idea of doing sexual things to an infant feels incomprehensible. Perhaps that's what makes it disgusting more specifically. We don't understand _why_ this happened.
I don't really see the difference. If there are people who are turned on by toddlers, there naturally has to be also people who lust after infants. Pretty much the same thing, I think.
And there's a difference between the acts of a random pedophile and the actions of a mother who abuses the baby she recently gave birth to, too.
There are also five-year-olds who are raped by their mothers.
A pointless post, really. There's no need to discuss any details. These things are so unquestionably reprehensible that discussion gets boring.
If for some reason the amount of child rape in the world had to be a constant, wouldn't the world be a much better place if every case was something like this one?
