Do your friends look confused when you use them?
For example: my family calls frozen mixed vegetables "mixchables" (that's how you say it; not sure of a decent spelling
) and I use that without variation when talking about mixed frozen veg.
Or I call the glands in my throat "glags" because that's what a friend called them when younger and it tickled my fancy.
And my family also refers to television controls almost exclusively as "trolls". But only ever tv controls, never stereo controls.
Just musing.

Visuck - no idea on a spelling, but that's how it sounds. It means being a super picky eater.

Do you have any "family" words that you use in every day life?

I don't have a single one, but my girlfriend has many. I'm not sure why that is.

Lots of quotes actually. From movies and songs, and things people have said in the past.
