OK, so Pink Floyd stuff earlier, now just music in general!
1. Favorite genre of music?
Classic rock - the Beatles, Stones, Doors, Zeppelin...that sort of stuff.
2. Least favorite?
Contemporary and/or interpretive jazz. If it says "jazz" and it's not from the first few decades of the Twentieth Century, I want nothing to do with it.
3. Favorite Band?
The Beatles, hands down.
4. Least favorite?
There are a lot of bad bands out there, and artists that one instinctively hates without even having to think about it (like Justin Bieber). There are talented people who irritate me, and untalented groups that sound awful. I think that, at or near the pinnacle of my idea of "bad" in a lot of ways stand Herman's Hermits.
5. The best album you've heard this year is...
I have to like an entire album? Shit. Did the new Lady Gaga come out this year? I think so, I guess that works.
6. Best concert you've been to this year is...
I have not been to a live music concert (excluding opera or musicals) since Billy Joel's River of Dreams tour in 1993.
7. Do you play any instruments?
I used to play the clarinet. Don't ask me to now.
That seem like a good place to stop.
