All the same, I did think France were pretty good. Whether they were as good as they could be, I wouldn't know, haven't seen them play much in the past year or two other than in this World Cup, where they were mostly significantly worse than against England. Hence, they seemed pretty good to me in that game - definitely were playing with motivation and spirit, even if perhaps they made more errors than they should have. Of course it doesn't mean they're better or even as good as the All Blacks have been in most of their games.
Their stats tell a different story - 33% kicking success, 1 clean break, 11 turnovers conceded, 13 missed tackles and 12 penalties conceded. That isn't the stats of a team playing well - concede 11 turnovers against a form team like New Zealand and miss 13 tackles and your looking at a drubbing and pretty limited offence against that.
The main good point about the game against England was that they did at least look up for it, disjointed and error ridden but up for it.

Oh yeah: All Blacks win second semifinal to set up a final against France next week.

I absolutely loved how the Aussies formed an "honour guard" for the boys.

You must have missed France-England if you say they haven't had their good game yet.

You must have seen a different quarter final between France and England than I did.

Well, I did see it on French television, so one might argue I did indeed see a different game.

I'm not sure it is going to be much of a final, France really need to at least play half decently

Yeah. They might surprise us and play like they did in the first 10 mins against NZ in the pool.
