I'm surprised that TV companies haven't marketed this more heavily. Tom Send a noteboard - 25/10/2011 06:43:56 PM
There is no reason why the TV and computer markets shouldn't be fully compatible, yet often times the connections don't work well. I can access my computer remotely via Wi-Fi and so I can watch hundreds of videos on Remote Access Storage on my TV, but the Blu-Ray player can't use that Wi-Fi connection to automatically update - it needs a wired connection (which is retarded). Also, a Mac can't connect to a TV without messing with all sorts of connectors because the audio doesn't carry over.

Plus, even though I have a Samsung "Smart TV", it doesn't have the ability to access amazon.com yet (though I do have Netflix streaming, Hulu and all that crap).
Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

– Procopius
