I double-checked, and as you say, they shed their antlers in the spring after giving birth. I was confused by a strange antler cycle-picture that she used in her presentation that for some reason seems to indicate that they only shed them the first year.


Now I have to e-mail her, cause I'm getting suspicious about the male shedding as well...
