i've been involved in 3rd party politics for a number of years and it's always the same people with the same signs with the same message over and over and over and over again. i completely agree with the idea that a select few people are taking more than their fair share of things while fucking up society for the rest of us, but at the same time holding a sign up and yelling your every minutiae to a big crowd doesn't seem like it's really doing much more than making a large group of people who protest everything under the sun pat themselves on the back for getting into the MSM.

that being said, i don't see why they can't come up with something more solid than "we are the 99%" for how to end the current system of inequality. it's nice to have a discussion, but at the end of the day, without legislative support you're just pissing in the wind.
