Godwin is a truism more than anything else, particularly in threads about a politician worried that his doctor is "too foreign." Of course, as he says, he has nothing against foreign doctors; he just does not want to be treated by one. I bet some of his best friends are foreign doctors.

But, yeah, when a candidate to be a nations chief executive says something openly racist, Godwins law is DEFINITELY a truism. If the shoe fits, and all that.
