For that matter, Bush is not really stupid, just intellectually lazy. I can excuse stupidity, which cannot be helped, but not willful ignorance.

However, Tebow clearly has the talent; he could not have had even his college success without the physical ability. His arm is quite strong (as seen on the multiple 50 yard passes Sunday) as is his whole body (as seen when he plowed into the endzone from 8 yards out on called run Sunday.) He is also a pretty sharp guy, having already picked up on a lot of things about pro offenses that he never encountered running the option at Florida. I cannot fault a guy for never learning what he was never taught, but his pro learning curve has been a lot lower than I expected; as long as he does not plateau any time soon (which I have been expecting for a couple months) we should be in great shape. Fortunately he is also a VERY hard worker, which was probably Bushs failing more than any other: Not that he did not or could not know, but that he did not WANT to and therefore never tried. That is most definitely not a failing in Tebow.
