I live in a town of about 10000 people Ray Send a noteboard - 01/02/2012 07:35:13 PM
It is basically a bedroom community with lots of houses but not much else. Our last city council election had less than 200 votes. I have heard a lot of people bitching about how bad traffic had become getting out of our area because a new road is feeding into it but at the no one shows up at city council meetings to have their opinion heard by the people who can do something about it. I would be willing to bet money on 70% of the residents not even being able to name the mayor.
