I might just go to different kinds of restaurants Sareitha Sedai Send a noteboard - 16/02/2012 03:13:01 PM
Actually I do, but I don't find this amusing. It's all too disgusting. 300 000 Americans die each year due to obesity. The last thing people need is a restaurant that caters to that segment of the population that doesn't care about their health unhealthy food. (that sentence feels weird..)

This one's just more blatant about it.

Not more healthy options than unhealthy ones, but more than there had been in the past. I used to have to order some sort of crazy thing, w/o the bread or with broccoli instead of fries, etc. I feel like I have more options now. I think.

Or my definition of "healthy" has evolved and made me cynical Granted, more restaurants are offering options under a certain calorie limit or something like that, which is at least a good start assuming that can be relied upon. This is kind of what I mean about my definition of healthy evolving though, because I find that what gets added to the food (salt and sugar substitute, etc.) to keep it under a calorie limit but still "tasty" to be worse than eating more calories' worth of "real food".

Honestly, I find no matter what the "healthy" options are on the menu, I still have to be all high-maintenance if I want to actually try to eat healthy. I have to either ask for it with dressing or sauce on the side, what's on the vegetables/can you leave it off, leave the cheese and croutons off my salad, and then I have to only eat half of the huge amount I'm served.

If you are from Betelgeuse, please have one of your Earth friends read what I've written before you respond. Or try concentrating harder.
