It was created by a man named Andrew Schlafly (who is the son of Phyllis Schlafly who fought against the equal right's amendment in the 1970s and 80s). Andrew Schlafly is a lawyer but he is also an "internet teacher" for homeschoolers. In 2006 one of his fifty or so home school students, used CE instead of AD for wikipedia uses that terminology. Andrew Schlafly found out the origin of this blasphemy was due to wikipedia, thus Andrew Schlafly made his own form of wikipedia which is to be free of those heathen liberals and their heathen ideas.
