Because that would be awesome and, anyway, the dollar is sinking like a stone. To think when I was in HS I lamented the fact my 1 oz. class ring cost $350 instead of the $35 my uncle, mother and father paid (despite being born 20 years apart.) I guess the good news is my wedding rings dollar value has risen a lot in the past year, the dollar value of my wifes engagement ring even more in the past three and the dollar value of my class ring has skyrocketed in the past twenty. Except, ultimately, that is really BAD news; people worry about deflation, but the dollars value has already dropped to the point the gold standard is actually quite tenable again (emptying Ft. Knox would require redeeming over half the dollars in circulation.) De facto deflation may soon be the order of the day (which in the long run is almost certainly a good thing in many ways, but it will hurt like a mofo in the short run.)

Cool shirt, even if I still prefer the Fourth, Ninth and Tenth Doctors to the Eleventh. To be fair, I have seen almost none of that last one yet, but one of them should be around in about nine minutes—unless he arrives sooner (or later; you know how THEY are.... )
