Having to order roughly $80 worth of merchandise to get a discount of $15 is not the same as $10 off a $50 order. I think it screws over the Brits (and other non-US people), of course, by making them order more to get to the threshold amount, but hey, whatever. Also, the British prices appear slightly higher (probably due to dollar devaluation). Wouldn't it be easier to set a price and have the USD price fluctuate based on the exchange rate? It's very easy to do; just list all prices in GBP and then convert at checkout.


They have different products and prices and nothing's shared between the two. It works a bit differently for each. It'd be much easier to have one store but shipping would be too expensive to cover everywhere.
