And growing up in the 70s-80s that brand in particular still had the most godawfully sexist ads even well into the 80s (which is about the time they stopped advertising on TV at all around here). I remember one (probably from the 80s) that ended with a woman stroking her husband's cheek and the tagline was something meaning "he'll thank you for those soft hands". Eesh...
All I remember is the picture of a woman soaking her hands in the palmolive soap. And I do remember asking my mom if we could get that brand so that I could try soaking my hands.
