Or it might not; part of my problem has been the lack of professional skills (or documentation of them) in high enough demand to mitigate the need for colleagues to use their second language. My impression is that is slightly different for those in fields requiring enough education that nearly everyone is fluent in English anyway. One thing about it, Norway is certainly very environmentally conscious, a consequence of being a very technically advanced oil exporter while most of the country looks like a nature preserve or mountain resort, and the nation has been virtually untouched by the GFC.
