I am just enjoying the first day all year I was SURE did not require a sweater (unlike last Thursday, which could easily have passed for November or December back home.) On the plus side, air conditioning is no longer a survival tool.

When it gets really hot, just enjoy the brief respite while rain lasts, because afterward it will only be muggy, not cool (stop me if you have heard this, but water holds a lot more heat than air. ) Speaking of which: If the breeze still feels cool (rather than feeling like it came from a blast furnace) it is not hot. When it gets to the mid-thirties, THEN you can start talking to me about "hot."
