My mother-in-law says the same author wrote Norways song and Swedens, even though each finished at opposite ends of the voting. Apparently "Norway" is a bit of a dirty word in Baku at present though, after a comedian with the NRK team covering Eurovision pretended to be an Iranian journalist trashing Azerbaijan provoked authorities in the host country, who subsequently detained him at the airport (by which I mean, "gave him a full body cavity search and forced him to spit on the Iranian flag.") Needless to say, there were official protests, and things have evidently gotten somewhat nasty; my in-laws suspect that may have been a factor in the voting (though I cannot see how it would do anything but earn sympathy from other countries.)
