That was pretty much a horror story to me. I once had such a bad toothache that I went overboard applying some of that Oraljel or whatever. I used so much of the numbing agent that I developed some type of bubble on the top of my gums. I would constantly deflate it with my tongue for the next year or so before it finally went away. So, yeah, I feel your pain.

By the way, did you file a complaint about that dentist? That sounds like the worst nightmare you can have. I'm surprised you didn't say that she started crackling with mad laughter.
