Choosing to understand the version of someone's words in the least sensible way.

Also, overly-literal interpretations can be fun.

In addition, using homonyms in my head when talking to others.

"Oh, I'm sure I would love to meat your mother."

OR

Boss "We're taking the company in a new direction"

Me, to a coworker "Bend over, here comes the nude erection"
