My Little Pony is not a bad cartoon. It is, to my admittedly limited knowledge, a good cartoon. That said, it is a cartoon. For children.

I treat people above 10 who enjoy it with the same attitude that I treat people above 10 who are fans of Sesame Street or Barney--cautious aversion. I'd be happy to sit down and watch either Sesame Street or My Little Pony with my (hypothetical) child, but why the hell would I watch them by myself?
