I noticed when I was a kid that /t/ and /d/ sound like [tʃ] and [dʒ] respectively before /r/ in my speech.


/dʑ/ is what I associate with "dj" and /dʒ/ for "j."


Didn't know there were English dialects with [dʑ]. Where does it occur?
