Gymnastics is always fun to watch. Cycling normally has a few good moments, though I spent most of the road race scratching my head trying to figure out if Germany and Australia had any tactic other than not letting the UK win :D Shame Cancellara hurt himself, and shame a previous drug cheat won.


agreed on all that - the Australians had more of an excuse because O'Grady was in the break but I think Goss in a group sprint had more chance than O'Grady who had been riding hard in a break all day. Both of them preferred to miss out on the medals rather than risk Cavendish win the gold.
I think I would have preferred anyone in the breakaway over vino to win - shame when he pretended to retire to try and dodge a long ban he didn't actually mean it.
