It is an interesting one - the impression I have is the women are happy, I believe it isn't uncommon for the top athletes to sell advertising on their arses.... of course that could be because a) the rules around the outfits already eliminates women who don't want their body focused on b) they don't actually like it but just accept it is the only way they can make money from the sport so figure they'll make the best of it.
In terms of the actual outfits, they're not exactly exactly showing off more of the person's physique than the skin suits worn in other sports, just are more obvious.
Dunno, I think the big thing is everyone in the media knows people like talking about it - both for and against it.
