I may be prejudiced, but the five minutes of it I saw earlier on during these Games (a men's game, I should add) left me distinctly underwhelmed by their actual volleyballing abilities. It didn't really seem like any of the four players on the field would've had a snowball's chance in hell of making their national volleyball team.

The reasons for including that "sport" in the Olympics seem very dubious to me to begin with, so I can't really get too upset about its players being treated as sex objects, when that pretty much seems to be the entire point of having the sport at the Games. It's more disturbing in sports that you can actually take seriously - gymnastics, for starters.

I must admit that I too have more attention for female athletes who happen to be attractive, all other things being equal (which they usually aren't, needless to say), but they really don't need to be half-naked for that (and my tastes often don't seem to align too much with those of many other men, anyway).
