I mean, yes, it was horrific, and yes, he doesn't seem like the type to reform. But the point of this system (and other parole-like systems) is that if he can be found, beyond a doubt, that he's reformed, he feels remorse, he's not a danger to anyone, etc. then there's no point in keeping him locked up.


Sorry, but the manner in which he killed and the sheer number of killings, along with the motive for the killings precludes any of the above. Mostly it's the motive, to me. I don't think any reformation, feelings of remorse or level of danger to others is enough for him to be paroled.

Otherwise, I do understand the concept of parole and approve of its use, but it depends on the individual circumstance.
