Fair point, Jens Taardad Maiden Send a noteboard - 06/09/2012 07:52:58 PM
Disaster is such a huge word. That's not visible from over here. We mostly see his foreign politics and of course in that regard he was a huge improvement over the catastrophic Bush years.

So, because I honestly don't know, let's talk domestic politics and name a few brief examples:

1. Whose lives has made Obama worse? How? (i.e. housewives, by deciding This.)

2. Can anyone think of people who may have benefit from his decisions?

1) He hasn't made my life worse. In fact, I am stretched to think of anything he's done that has DIRECTLY affected me in the short term...

2) My daughter. Obamacare makes it possible for her to get medical treatment DESPITE having a pre-existing condition (diabetes) and DESPITE my ex-husband refusing to allow her to be covered under his insurance past age 18. This will allow her to find treatment that is affordable and without prejudice.

Fuck me, now I remember why I don't come here very often. Too many stupid arguments without open minds.

<3 hope you're not TOO bored, Jens!
