I still can't get my head around the idea that there are still places in the world where rape vicitms are punished and allow themselves to be raped over and over out of fear of what society will do to them it is found out.
Even in Western countries we have PSAs telling women it is not their fault they got raped, and it is a deeply humiliating experience in addition to the other psychological and physical trauma.
