The campaign is still running - it's not as if anybody expected anything intelligent from him. Legolas Send a noteboard - 13/09/2012 09:19:12 PM
I don't think you should take Romney's (or any other American presidential candidate's who isn't already president) remarks during the campaign too seriously, or see them as too indicative of what he'll be like as a president. As long as it doesn't roam into completely braindead or extremely offensive territory (Rick Perry's blathering about Turkey comes to mind on both counts, but then there's a reason his campaign didn't go anywhere), it's not a big deal.

And of course Tom does have a point that the field is always stacked against Republican presidents in the press abroad.

I haven't seen it, but I honestly wasn't looking for that. - 12/09/2012 04:00:39 PM 734 Views
The administration did issue an apology, which was stupid. - 12/09/2012 04:21:04 PM 689 Views

what is stupid is deliberately distorting the actual statements in order to be outraged at obama - 13/09/2012 04:01:04 PM 708 Views
I'm not outraged personally. - 13/09/2012 05:14:59 PM 589 Views
Besides, the whole point of this post was to question Egypt's position, not Romney OR Obama's *NM* - 13/09/2012 05:16:02 PM 318 Views
