Yeah, remember that, too, but those 5 Giants points made the difference. Joel Send a noteboard - 14/09/2012 10:30:56 PM
The D did let down in the fourth, but they were on the field a long time. I remember watching the Cowboys last two TDs and thinking, Yeah, great that they scored, but they did it so FAST, and the D has already been out there a while....

The D let up, and that was certainly a factor, but they were gassed. I had a similar worry in Denvers season opener, after Pitt controlled the ball for the last half of the second quarter and the first half of the third; it took Manning and Co. less than half a minute to score a TD, but then our D was on the field again to defend yet another 7:00 Pitt drive. If Roethlisberger had not overlooked Mike Wallace uncovered deep for the go ahead TD that game might have ended much less happily.

Ben Roethlisberger is better than Philip Rivers as of now, regardless of stats. - 13/09/2012 07:06:34 PM 552 Views
Is that who you think these QBs are? *NM* - 13/09/2012 07:23:20 PM 304 Views

Sorry, the FG attempt was not blocked: Romo bobbled the snap, then ran for 0 yards. - 14/09/2012 01:18:08 PM 761 Views

Ah; in that case staggering into ones own endzone and taking a knee is on the ball carrier, yes. - 14/09/2012 09:43:51 PM 731 Views
...in the 1st qtr! They were up by 12 with 5 mins to go. So... *NM* - 14/09/2012 10:09:27 PM 364 Views
