It is a bit surreal hearing all my unemployed die-hard Republican friends and family say it is Obamas fault they are unemployed but only lazy people are out of work.

The level of cognitive dissonance is truly astounding, and frightening. In a way, Romney has a valid point: 45% of the US will believe whatever obvious lie they are told by their preferred party. Jonathan Swift could sell his Modest Proposal if he could just get it endorsed by EITHER major party, then pull around 5% of independents.
