Oh, I was briefly in Edinburgh in 2009 and did meet Ben.
Edinburgh is definitely a cool place.
But Paris is amazing, I'm blown away by the style and beauty of this place in parts, it's just like the movies.
Really laid back lifestyle, people sitting in cafes and in the sun by the banks of canals eating and drinking. Great food!

You have correctly pointed out the one big negative of course, and that's all the French people! ;) The lanaguage thing definitely gets irritating after a while.
