My biggest issues so far have been:
1) coming out of the closet to family
2) depression/anxiety throughout my family
3) abuse and related disorders my sister suffered as a kid and kept secret from us for fear of triggering symptoms of #2 in my mom, especially. Eventually led to a schism with me as the go-between.
This all sort of exploded in the last couple of years, and even though nothing has really been fixed yet, the worst seems to be over. That in itself is a kind of a good feeling, though one I'm afraid we'll content ourselves with rather than really make things right.
