The "both terrible" and "there's no difference" responses are both dumb. Yes, neither are wonderful and amazing, and yes, they do have some similarities (many, in some areas), but that's different than saying "They're both equally terrible, let's lie in a ditch and complain about it until we die."

For my part, I've said it before, but I'll say it again- whatever your criticisms of Obama are (and there are legitimate concerns, many of which I share), he is better than Romney.

Even if you ignore the creepy, back-to-the-1950s tone that everything the GOP have said about women's issues has been tinged with ("Legitimate rape?" The body shutting itself down to prevent unwanted pregnancy? Rape-babies being a part of God's plan? At least one more than I'm forgetting?), Romney comes off as a slimy caricature of a predatory businessman, who smiles just a little too hard.

I amuse myself.
